Dr. Janna K. Flint
Womens & Childrens Hospital is pleased to welcome Dr. Janna K. Flint, board-certified Pediatric Endocrinologist, to its medical staff. Dr. Flint diagnoses, treats and manages endocrine disorders in children including diabetes, thyroid disorders, abnormal growth, disorders of puberty, the metabolic syndrome, and pituitary hormone deficiencies. Pediatric Endocrinologists treat hormone disorders at all stages of childhood and teen years. She will work closely with hospital based nutritionists and diabetic educators to help patients and family members effectively manage their conditions.
Dr. Flint completed her medical doctorate at Loyola Universitys Stritch School of Medicine and her pediatric residency at Rush Childrens Hospital in Chicago. Her fellowship in pediatric endocrinology was completed at St. Christophers Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, under the mentorship of Dr. Francesco DeLuca. During her fellowship she had an opportunity to pursue her research interests in the metabolic syndrome of sleep disorders. Her research has been published in The Journal of Pediatrics and in Pediatric Diabetes.
