WCH Welcomes New Internal Medicine Physician

Women’s & Children’s Hospital, a campus of The Regional Medical Center of Acadiana, welcomes Rachael Y. Roberts, M.D., MHSA.

Dr. Roberts, who specializes in Internal Medicine, is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to adults and seniors. Services include wellness and preventative medicine and management of chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, etc. for both men and women.

Dr. Roberts completed her medical degree from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine as well as her Masters in Health Services Administration. She then completed her residency in Internal Medicine at LSU Health Sciences Center in Lafayette. Dr. Roberts has participated in numerous medical research projects and initiatives, leading to several publications. Professional affiliations include Radiological Society of North America, American Society of Clinical Oncology and University of Chicago: Research Associate Physician.
