John Bolin, MD

Dr. John Bolin, Breast Surgeon, spent nearly 40 of his more than 50 years in practice serving the needs of women right here in Acadiana. He specializes in the treatment of breast cancer and other breast-related diseases. A DeRidder native, Dr. Bolin earned his medical degree at LSU School of Medicine in 1967 before performing a one-year internship at New Orleans Charity Hospital and his residency in the LSU Medical School Surgery Program. Dr. Bolin worked for nearly two years in the late 1980s alongside Dr. Robert Elliott at the former Mastology Center in Baton Rouge before opening his own practice and later joining the Women’s Multi-Specialty Group. Professional affiliations include the Lafayette Parish and Louisiana State Medical Societies, the Louisiana Surgical Society, the James D. Rives Surgical Society and the Society for the Study of Breast Disease.
